Hello everyone,
I was born and raised in West Africa and most of my clinical experience came when I was over there as a pharmacy tech. However, I am struggling to write down this experience because I performed some medical processes (providing medications, administering IM vaccines/injections, treating open wounds and assisting in circumcisions) that would only require a medical professional to perform. I lived in an area where there was little to no access to proper healthcare so the pharmacy where I worked at were some patients’ only option for medical care. My question is not if I should write them down (because I know I can’t) but how can I best tell the admission committee that this experience drew me most to medicine?
