I’m not sure if this is the right place to post, but I’d like to share this opportunity with you.
I am adjunct faculty at SJSU and have been working closely with InnVision, a homeless shelter in San Jose, CA. With their approval, I have created an internship opportunity to coordinate a Health and Wellness Fair for those receiving services from the shelter. Two to three candidates will be selected. Their responsibilities will be to learn of the special challenges and needs of this unique population, identify and contact potential vendors, and coordinate the event.
Learning objectives: Program management, community needs assessment, leadership, relationship building
