Hello. My name is Dawn. I have been a member for almost a year and this is my first post. I lose my drive every now and then. I truly want to go to medical school, but, I feel so unsure sometimes if I can do it. The long and short of it is that if all goes according to plan, I will be about 45 or so when I became a practicing physician. I know that this is not old, by any means. I have 4 kids that I homeschool, a seafood business that I help to run, and just sooo many responsibilities. I just don’t want to turn my back on my own dreams. I want this badly. I believe I can do it, I have my husband’s support. I just feel afraid sometimes. Any encouragement? Thanks. Any similar stories? I’d love to hear. Dr. Wannabe.
