IR Region Tables

Can someone who has taken the MCAT tell me if a table of IR-regions is provided for spec. related questions? They aren’t in the sample e-mcat tests, so I’m assuming they’re not =(

they are not but there there should only be 5 or 10 points to know. Don’t let the complexities of Organic classes get to you. Ochem is much simpler on the MCAT

Mcat IR is simple–

there are only two you need to know–

a giant, broad peak on the left hand side of the table= OH

a sharp LONG peak in the middle (around 1600)= carbonyl

I’ve taught sophomore orgo (and mcat orgo)for years and I’ve never seen anything other than those two bands tested.
