Kaplan--free MCAT Practice Test

Hi, guys. I’m sure this has been mentioned before, but just in case…

if you go here: http://www.kaptest.com/MCAT/Home/index.html

and put in your zipcode, you can search for “free Kaplan events” around your area. Here in Nashville, they are doing 2 free MCAT practice tests in the month of February (one on 2/4, and one later in the month. Both on Saturdays.) They are at local universities, and I like the idea of actually having to go somewhere to do my test. It feels like more “official” practice.

For those of us in full MCAT prep mode, every bit of practice I can get is helpful, and it’s a double bonus when it’s free.

Just thought I’d pass that along!

Have a great weekend!

Really cool. Thanks a bunch.

I am not sure I will be able to attend, but the idea is great.

Thx for sharing.

Thanks a bunch for this information.

Redo–when is your test date? I’m so excited for you to conquer this monster again this year! You are going to do a great job, and before we know it we’ll be sailing into application! =)

Hi Carrie

Thx for the kind words. I wish you were right but after my first failed attempt, I will not be too confident.

The issue is that I don’t have time to work on it now, barely, can put about 10h/week at best. So I will register at the last minute. Targeting May ,but the spots are long gone in my city, so I will likely have to drive 1h or 2 to an isolated place.

I wish you the best of luck and I am sure you will do fine. Keep us posted, I will do the same.

Take care.

Honestly, driving to an isolated place may be better redo. It will give you that business trip approach, as in you are in the business of killing the MCAT.

Going along with that, I’ve also created a site to help students find the right program for them! Kaplan is there, obviously, but there are also many other schools and explanations of programs available to prospective students. Just visit this link for more information. I’ve also found that this site is a great resource for information!

Hi Bailey

Somehow, I just discovered your reply.

I took it finally, and will hope for the best. I will surely keep you posted.

I hope you are doing well.

Fingers AND toes crossed for you, Redo… I’m right behind you! Let us know how it goes!

Sure will Carrie

Good luck. I am sure you will do well. Just make sure to rest before test day.

I actually spent a night alone, away from the kids, at an hotel near the testing center. That was the best decision I could have made. I felt so relaxed, and I didn’t work on anything. I arrived freshened up and focused in the morning. Did the best I could. We’ll see.

Take care.
