I am in the League of Women Voters. “The League of Women Voters of the United States encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.”
I currently have it categorized as community service non-medical clinical on mapped. Not every activity with the league is necessarily volunteer work though. For example, yesterday, we had a new member zoom mixer just for fun. Should I include that as my community service hours, or should I split it into volunteer hours and fun/hobby hours? I dont want to just leave out those nonvolunteer hours though because I really admire and respect my fellow league members; they really inspire me to get involved.
