Hi everyone. I am in my last year of undergrad and should hopefully he graduating in Spring ‘25. My stats are bad, and my GPA is in the low 2.0s, both science and cumulative. Of course, I know this is my own doing and I know I can’t fix this issue overnight, so I’ve started preparing for SMP programs and post-bacc programs; I need to research which is the better choice for me and make a decision based off such.
My question is whether anyone may possibly have a list of SMP programs that I could look into. I have yet to find a good list that shows all the programs in the country. Please let me know if you have a list.
I also want to ask based off anyone’s expertise or experience with a low GPA, would you recommend a post-bacc or an SMP? Or both? I don’t mind however much effort it takes so long as I get into med school. I plan to take the MCAT in September and if I don’t do well, I can always retake it in the spring. Please let me know your thoughts and advice.
