Iowa is debating a law on legalizing medical marijuana. As a citizen/person, I am in favor of helping people not be in pain. As a physician in a specialty that deals with chronic pain patients and, at times, drug seekers, I am uncomfortable with this proposition. In our department, we pretty much have a flat policy that we do not treat pain with narcotics and that if you require management beyond the neuropathic pain meds we have available, then we refer you to the pain clinic. I foresee that being my position on medical marijuana.
I’ve read this article about a marijuana strain called http://www.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com/sour-pebbles/ and it says that it has some benefits too. I dont know if this is entirely true. I want to ask you guys who has some personal experience about this strain thing. Thanks to those who will answer!
