Got the rejection letters today from UT San Antonio and Texas A & M. At this point so late in the game, I’m not expecting anything, but its still a bummer.

Kathy, this is so discouraging. There’s wasn’t much anyone could say to make me feel better, either.
So I don’t know if it helps, but if there is still even one open file out there, you still have a chance. I missed the Washington DC conference because Nova called the week before it, and offered me the last interview slot on the Friday of the conference. And that was in late, late May for (I think) a June interview date.
Do what you can to form a workable plan C. But the game may not be over yet.
