Hello Everyone!

Well let’s see… I am (just about) 27 and in my second semester of freshman year. I recently married and have one stepdaughter who is about to turn 6. We have her very part time as she lives in AZ.

I wanted to be a Dr. when I was young, however… life got in the way. I decided to go back to school and make this journey after years of being a paralegal and being very unhappy with my career choice and the fact that I never followed my dream.

I think I did ok in my first semester back at school… I took 18 credits and came out with a 3.66 gpa. which could have been higher, but my Uni doesn’t give the norm for an A-. This semester I am taking 24 credits, so things should be fairly insane.

Looking forward to getting to know others who are in similar situations!

Sierra,

I am 27. I think you will do great! Don’t get discouraged and remember that it will all be worth it in the end. It’s never too late to pursue your dreams. I just was married over a year ago, no children and my wife is behind my ambitions 100 percent, best of luck to you and your family.

Welcome, Sierra!
