Hi,
I am new to the forum. I have a PhD in Chemistry and am currently doing postdoctoral studies in Medicinal Chemistry at U of Minnesotta. My ambition is to transition the basic biomedical research done in universities to a more clinical setting in hospitals. It is one of the primary reasons as to why I am pursuing a medical degree other than the joy of service one can directly provide. I plan to take MCAT in spring next year and apply for 2012 fall. It is great to see everyone so motivated here and driven to achieve their dreams. Good luck to you all.
