Newborn Hearing Screener considered clinical?

As a newborn hearing screener I swaddle babies and make sure they are calm, happy, and content. I communicate with parents how recently baby has been fed as that helps with the screen. I also tell them why I am doing it and verify mom and baby’s patient information. Along with that I also communicate with nurses and find out if baby is okay to be screened or if their on any sort of fluids. I place sensors and ear muffs on baby and wait for a P/F. Is this clinical experience?
