I just recently finished my first year of nursing school and took my board exams for my LPN license. I realized that even though I enjoy nursing that what I really want is to pursue a career in medicine. After taking some of the nursing and science classes I kept finding myself wanting to know more than what was thought necessary for nurses. So now I have switched to premed. I am enjoying the classes that I am taking…well as much as one can enjoy Organic chem. But what I was wondering is if this change in careers is going to be looked down upon when I apply to schools.
