Who are you all asking for your recommendations?
Looking through the MSAR and not really sure what to think of it. I’m not seeing as much of the “2 science professor” requirement as I used to, but maybe I’m just not looking right.
Haven’t taken an bio/phys/chem type class since 2010 and I’m sure none of those profs remember me. I have a 3.5 GPA and don’t have time to do post-bacc with my job and volunteer work, so I really don’t know if I can get a science professor to write a letter for me.
If a school has a requirement for specific people to write your letters, email the school with your situation and who you would plan to be the substitute. I don’t think any schools told me “absolutely no subs” when I emailed them. Some gave me a “waiver” but others just said they didn’t really care.
