If you have done searches in the past and been surprised to have no results, here’s why: It used to be the search engine defaulted to resport only posts within the last week that met your criteria. Geoff has edited the default to be two years, so almost any relevant search should yield some results, without your having to tweak things.
If you get TOO MANY results, you can always use the little drop-down box on the Search page to set a shorter date range. Give it a try! There’s lots of good stuff around here!
