Strategy question: Information Analysis

Hello,

As I am going through the NS practice exams I make notes as to why I got them right or wrong, and what material was covered that I had been wrong about, and I am seeing a trend. The trend I am seeing among the questions I’m getting wrong are related to my interpretation of the information within the passage. Under the time constraint of the exam, I am making analysis errors that I would have normally avoided. Up to this point in my studies, I have spent a large portion of my MCAT prep making sure I am well-versed when it comes to the content. Do you have any advice to make my studies more productive while trying to improve my score? Thank you for your time.

Respectfully,

Ryan

I think the biggest step is that you’ve started analyzing the problem. A tip I’ve learned is when highlighting, highlight after you read the chapter and not during. Try to understand what the point of the paragraph before you move on. The same may work for notes if that is how you are processing the information.
