I have participated in several black lives matter protests in the city that is where my #1 choice is. They were all peaceful protests, and in my primary app I discuss wanting to be a physician for advocating for social justice in the health care system and addressing inequities present in our society. My question is, would it be a negative to discuss this on a secondary app, even if I make sure not to include politically-charged statements?
i think you should not include politically-charged statements , your app is not about politics.
There was a recent podcast episode that touched on using this reason as a motivation for being a physician. Since what you’re saying is not exactly the work of a physician, it can be looked at negatively. I would be indirect in talking about protests and say something like “directly involved in advocacy efforts”
