Quick question:
I was looking over my transcripts and they say:
Gen Chem I 4cr.
O-chem I 4cr.
There is no word on there about a lab??? How to I convince the adcoms that I took a lab as well???
Most science courses are 4 credits, this doesn’t necessarily mean that there’s a lab component that goes along with it. Please help me understand this 
I think there is a check box on your app. that says “class includes lab”, but I would check with those filling it out this year. Also most of my science course w/o a lab were only 3 hrs. As you will soon find out, once you get done with the app. cycle you try to put it as far out of your mind as possible.
For AMCAS you will have an option to check a box that it is a lecture with included lab. Also the instructions say to add “and lab” to the end of the course description.
also, when transcripts/syllabi are reviewed, they will see that a lab was part of the class. I had the same worry with my Physics course, because the lab was not a separate element. The advisors at MSUCOM assured me they would be aware of it.
