Does anyone have any information about the online courses offered through UNE? If so, were they helpful for MCAT prep and accepted as pre-req’s for MD/DO school?

I heard UNECOM’s distance biochem class is pretty popular for those needing to satisfy a few med schools that have a biochem requirement. A fellow sailor who’s now in med school recommends regionally-accredited Mountain State University for deployed or deploying military members. Mountain State University offers all the premed requirements throught distance education (labs are accomplished by computer or by using prefabricated kits). For those who might be ashamed of distance education, there is no distinction on Mountain State transcripts between distance education courses and attendance-based courses.
