what is the process/time

When do you apply for med school? Can you basically go right from getting your B.A to med school or do you have to wait a year or so?

Beau,
You can go right from getting your B.A., but you have to take the MCAT and get your application in a year ahead of time. For example, if you are going to graduate in 2005, you need to take the April or August 2004 MCAT, get your application in during the summer of 2004, and then you might get accepted into beginning in the fall of 2005.
Take your time. Do well in your classes and rock the MCAT. As many have said before, medical school is a marathon, not a sprint!
Best of luck!
