Hello!
I’ve been out of college for almost 4 years and have decided to pursue medicine (again). I didn’t apply myself during undergrad (Georgetown University, B.S. in Chemistry) and finished with a 3.16 cGPA and a 2.93 sGPA with no upward trend. I finished my pre-med requirements during undergrad and have a few C’s in these classes.
I want to take upper-division science courses to get my sGPA >3.0 before taking the MCAT and applying to medical school in the next 3 years. I work full-time (AD Air Force) and so I’m quite limited on where and when I can take classes. I’ve been looking into online programs like UCLA Extension, and I was wondering if anyone can weigh on the types of classes that I should be taking? From the UCLA Extension course catelog, it’s a bit unclear which classes would actually count towards a BCPM GPA. Thanks in advance!
