I am new to this Forum. Can’t even begin to tell you how inspired I am just reading some of the post. I actually made it a point to read one new post every morning…
So this is the story. I have covered all pre reqs about 10 years ago in my undergraduate (Have an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy). Unfortunately, my undergraduate is from a foreign country and most schools here want to see pre reqs done in American or Canadian University. I am taking the courses now and am shooting to sit for the August 2006 MCAT and apply for 2007. My question is: do I have to finish the pre reqs before applying or before matriculation to Med school? Would appreciate any advice I can get.

You need to have them completed before matriculation. However, if your pre-reqs are old and foreign, you may want to have the majority of them done prior to applying, so that adcoms have recent coursework to look at.
