I have an opportunity to volunteer as a companion caller for geriatric patients. The goal of this program is to improve mental health in geriatric patients, and I would receive training on crisis management and mental health. I know crisis call centers are considered clinical experience; could this be clinical as well? I do not have any other clinical opportunities at the moment due to the pandemic and the rules where I live.
