good credit score needed for med school?

Do med school admissions look at this? Is it sill possible to get good loans w/o good credit?

For admissions, they do not care about your credit score. For financial aid, it may cause you to have a problem with private loans but it may not be an issue with government loans. However, check with the financial aid department on that.

As long as they’re the not the private (PLUS) loans, then your credit history doesn’t matter. Both types of government loans (subsidized and unsubsidized) are guaranteed.

This is true, but that does figure in if you are going to somewhere that is expensive enough that you need PLUS loans to float the cost (a lot of schools). So that needs to be figured into your calculations.
