I checked the MCAT forum, but didn’t see exactly what I’m looking for. I’d love to have as many of you as possible answer:
Your score
How many months before did you begin
Studying?
Prep course? (if so, which one?)
How many hours a week did you study?
CC/4 year/ post Bacc?
I think it would be very helpful!
Thanks, Dan
I’m not taking it until Jan 29th so I’ll let you know how I do when scores come back.
If you search for 30+ MCAT over on SDN you can find all kinds of http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=5… stats, a lot of non-traditionals do really well on it.
score: 31R
prep time: 3 months
course: princeton
hrs / wk: ~30
do it yourself post bac at 4 yr university

This would be a great thing to sticky. For those of us who haven’t taken the MCAT yet, it’s extremely helpful information.

Double checked - it was a 34.
Kate.
Score: 31
Months of study: about 3 days dedicated to MCAT
Prep course? none
How many hours a week did you study: see above
CC/4 year/ post Bacc: post-bacc
Note - I did all of the pre-reqs (except for the last quarter of physics) in 9 months before taking the test. I started school in September, took the MCAT the following August. So, one could argue that my entire 9 months was one giant MCAT prep.
