Hopefully it, in combination with the acceptance thread, will give future OPM’s good information on what strategic decisions to make when applying… I’m including relevant stats along with the level at which you were turned down (P = primary app/S = secondary app/I = interview).

Alright, I know there are more of you out there…come on, confess. 
Actually, I haven’t been rejected by anybody yet. Of course, I haven’t been accepted by anybody yet, either. I have had one interview. Two of my applications weren’t complete until a couple of weeks ago, though. I expect to either get some more interviews or get some rejections in the near future.

PS - I only applied to five schools, and all but one of them I feel I have a reasonable shot at.
Ok, I’ll come clean. I applied to heaps of AMCAS schools, & I currently have been rejected from 30% of those. One interview, and I should hear from them (Wright State) by Christmas. Haven’t heard from Texas schools yet.
Give me just one acceptance, & I’ll talk about my rejections in gory detail!

Well, that didn’t last long–I am back in first place! But that’s fine. I was getting a bit too cheery and trustful towards med schools lately anyway. Now that I have been restored to my more normal state of jadedness, I am lumping in two schools I haven’t heard zilch from since September. Might as well. Grrr.
P.S. Note to the school that sent the rejection letter to my dad’s house: maybe you think I’m so sad that I have no choice now but to move back in with my parents, but you are wrong!
